Difficult Times: an Age of Lonliness
We live in an age of deep loneliness. Many people find themselves isolated behind screens, out of touch with family, divided by politics, or simply moving through life alone. Our culture reflects it — grocery aisles lined with single-serving meals, neighborhoods where doors stay closed, and hearts that quietly ache for connection. What will help us find one another again is not more noise or distraction, but a renewed way of seeing. When we recognize Holy Mystery dwelling in every person we meet, something changes: we approach one another as friends, not strangers. In that sacred recognition, loneliness begins to lift, and community is born anew.
