 Using this new vocabulary in pastoral care is essential, for these are sacred moments when hearts are open and people most long to encounter God. The words we choose can either deepen fear or awaken trust. When we speak of God’s love, forgiveness, and abiding presence — when we embody hope and compassion through our care — we help others meet the God of Jesus in all divine tenderness. In such moments, language becomes grace itself: a healing bridge between human need and the Holy Mystery who loves without limit.
